So you want to get involved with the sport of tournament hunting?
Welcome to the crowd. Of course it’s not quite that simple, but if you truly have the aspirations to compete, there’s a place for you in the game.
The Rooster Heaven Tournament Series is to present a challenging hunting opportunity for the bird dog and hunter. In these tournaments, your bird dog will be tested on its ability to find birds, flush/point, and retrieve, and the hunters do their part by working their dog within timed parameters and bring in the game using a minimum amount of shells.
Hunting tournaments gives hunters the opportunity to meet and catch up with other hunters and their families and learn more about the sport of Upland Hunting.
This tournament series strives to be consistent with all elements of the hunt so that the dog’s ability is what sets its self apart from other dogs in the field. In providing this opportunity, the series pays tribute to the bird dog's abilities and more importantly, celebrates the hunter's partnership with “man's best friend” and nature in a family friendly atmosphere. The Rooster Heaven Tournament Series encourages the involvement of amateurs, woman, and youth, as well as the dedicated Upland Tournament hunter.
