Rooster Heaven looks forward to you, your family and dog(s) joining us for our Upland Game Hunting Competition. You will be competing with some of the best hunters and dogs in Illinois and the surrounding states.

Event Dates :
Regional #1: January 12th. 2008. Entry deadline is January 5th.
Regional #2: February 2nd. Entry deadline is January 26th.
Regional #3: February 23rd. Entry deadline is February 16th.
Championship: March 15th. Entry deadline is March 8th.

Our Upland Tournament is managed on-foot shoot to retrieve competitive pheasant hunting tournament under natural hunting conditions. You will find our preserves to be some of the finest cover found in the Midwest. When entering our fields to begin your hunt you greeted by our friendly judges and scored realistically on your team's performance.

We use quality game birds for our events, which will challenge some of the best dogs, sportsmen and women that hunt in our Upland tournament.

Your scores will be posted promptly and awards will be handed shortly after our final hunting event. We are determined to make this a family affair so we are hopeful that members of your family that are not hunting will join us for an entertaining day of friendly competition, food and friends.

• Four-bird set, based on most birds harvested, least time & shells used (see rules for details)
• Pointers and flushers Divisions

Our goal is to simulate a natural upland bird hunt in a competitive fashion. We want to recognize the dog that shows its natural hunting ability, the dog that enthusiastically hunts the whole field while displaying control and consistency.
