Rooster's Whitetail Hunts
Escape to Livingston County for some of Illinois finest Whitetail Deer hunting experiences in the country! Rooster Heaven is located just 90 minutes out of Chicago and offers sportsmen and women some of the most incredible Whitetail Deer hunting in the Chicagoland area.
Maintaining a vigilant game management program on the Rooster Heaven preserve and supplying all the elements necessary to produce and maintain an excellent whitetail population, food, habitat, and genetics we can offer an extraordinary deer hunting experience for sportsmen and women looking for a successful hunt or that trophy buck.
 The Rooster Heaven hunting packages come with rustic cabin a full kitchen, satellite TV, outdoor grills and many more amenities located on our magnificent hunting grounds. We provide all linens, cooking and dining utensils, and appliances so all you’ll need to supply is the food, drink and necessary hunting supplies.
When you’re not pursuing Whitetail’s the hunting grounds have hiking trails and fishing year round. We offer most of the amenities of a resort, but in a rural setting.
Hunters must obtain their own Livingston County Permit, Hunting License and applicable Habitat Stamps.

With each of our Bow hunting packages a 50% deposit is required at the time you book your hunt with the balance due 2 weeks prior to your hunt. This package includes lodging and semi-guided hunts with one deer taken, either sex. Rooster Heaven accepts most major credit cards. All deposits are non-refundable. |

Season:
Livingston County - October 1 - January 11 in all other counties except that archery hunting is CLOSED November 16, 17, 18, and November 29, 30, December 1, 2, for the two firearm deer seasons.
Hunters must wear blaze orange during the December 7, 8, & 9 Muzzleloader season (refer to Hunter's Digest for specifics). |

Bow Hunting
$1,500 full season package
* Hunters must call to check in and let the hunt club know of there intention to hunt and reserve their stand.
* Lodging not included
$375 single weekend package
* Scout Friday Midday and Hunt Friday afternoon, Saturday morning and evening and Sunday morning. (Out by 11:00 AM)
* Scouting must be completed by 1:00 PM so that you don't "spook" the deer going into the evening hunt.
* Lodging Friday and Saturday.
* No meals - Full Kitchen in the Lodge and Restaurants near by.
* Must Scout and reserve stands in advance of hunting.
* One tag can be filled during each of your booked hunts.
If you book 4 weekends or more additional discounts will be applied.
Slug Season
$1000 first and second slug season package
* Package includes the same as our weekend package but three deer can be harvested over the combined two seasons.
$685 single weekend package
* Scout Friday Midday and Hunt Friday afternoon, Saturday morning and evening and Sunday morning. (Out by 11:00 AM)
* Scouting must be completed by 1:00 PM so that you don't "spook" the deer going into the evening hunt.
* Lodging
* No meals - Full Kitchen in the Lodge and Restaurants near by.
* Must Scout and reserve stands in advance of hunting.
* One tag can be filled during your booked hunt (second tag can be filled for an additional $125).
Full payment required in advance which will be refunded if tags for Livingston County can't be obtained.
